Ellery sleeps mere steps away while I close the distance between the door and the bed. I study the way her chest moves up and down with her even breaths. The way her curls are spread out on her pillow. The way her fingers twitch and clutch the sheet as if it will protect her from her dreams.

I’ve spent hours and hours dedicated to memorizing every inch of her, but never like this.

Holding back has been difficult, but now that she’s here in my house, it’s going to be impossible. I already feel the pull to move closer. To touch. To devour.

This night will start us on the path forward to the place we’re meant to be. She’s blissfully unaware of what’s about to happen while I’m anything but. I move to the chair in the corner as my control shreds apart.

As much as I want to tear her clothes off and sink inside her, I also want to savor this moment. I love Ellery’s fire, but right now I don’t want her fight. I want her unaware, totally at my mercy.

There’s only diffused moonlight tonight as rays streak through a heavy layer of clouds, so the room is nearly pitch black inside. I can only make out the faintest hints of Ellery’s form from here, but it’s enough.

I take my time stripping off my shirt, appreciating the plush carpet beneath my feet and the way it hides the sound of my footsteps. I keep my breathing slow and shallow as I toss my shirt onto the chair.

My pet is hauntingly beautiful in a way that lingers in my memory even when we’re not together. I itch to touch her, and my skin tingles as the hairs lift off my arms with my excitement.

My pants are stripped off next, and I’m careful to remove my belt slowly so Ellery doesn’t wake.

This is a tantalizing game of pleasure and restraint; one I hope to push the boundaries of before I’m finished tonight. I take a breath and squeeze my dick through my boxers, trying to stave off the incessant ache that’s ever-present when Ellery’s around.

Or when I think about her.

Really, I’ve never spent so much time hard as I have these last few weeks and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. In fact, now that I’ve experienced the pleasure of her body for myself, I only see it getting worse.

I bite my cheek to keep from groaning.

My pulse thunders in my ears, so loud I barely hear the soft sounds of Ellery’s breathing. As I move around the bed, my body hums with electric anticipation of what’s to come. Every nerve ending sparks and buzzes as if I’m on something illicit.

My pet didn’t bother searching her room before she fell asleep, but if she had, I wonder if she would’ve said anything about the bindings I attached to her bed.

No matter, I’ll discover what she thinks of them when she wakes up tied down with me inside of her.
